What is Concierge Psychiatry?
Concierge medicine is also called direct-care medicine. Though it can mean a variety of things, the guiding concept is a return to the doctor-patient relationship as the top priority. This often involves elimination of external factors that dilute or impede this relationship, such as insurance companies, corporate medicine, mid-level providers, phone trees, etc.

- Medication refills, prior authorizations, and all inquiries of records are handled personally by Dr. Knapp so that strict confidentiality is maintained.
Pharmacogenomic Testing
Pharmacogenomics is the study of how genes affect a person's response to drugs. This relatively new field combines pharmacology (the science of drugs) and genomics (the study of genes and their functions) to develop effective, safe medications and doses that will be tailored to a person's genetic makeup.
